{"id":1477,"date":"2019-10-03T13:02:54","date_gmt":"2019-10-03T13:02:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asrcc.ch\/?page_id=1477"},"modified":"2019-10-03T13:36:19","modified_gmt":"2019-10-03T13:36:19","slug":"word-from-the-presidents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/asrcc.ch\/index.php\/word-from-the-presidents\/","title":{"rendered":"Word from the Presidents"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are proud to announce the joint meeting between the 18<sup>th<\/sup> Tripartite Meeting (Dreil\u00e4ndertreffen) in Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) and the 27<sup>th<\/sup> annual meeting of the Association Suisse Romande de Chirurgie Coelioscopique (ASRCC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This unique\nevent will bring together the MIS societies of Switzerland (Swiss-MIS (former\nSALTC) and ASRCC), Germany (CAMIC), Austria (AMIC) and as a special guest the\nSoci\u00e9t\u00e9 Francaise de Chirurgie Endoscopique (SFCE) for an exciting scientific\nmeeting during two days on February 27-28, 2020 at the Starling Hotel in\nGeneva. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will exchange on minimal invasive surgery (MIS) beginning with the traditional ASRCC flash session on novelties in MIS in visceral surgery, urology, gynecology, and pediatric surgery, followed by a multidisciplinary session on endometriosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will then have updates and discuss the latest evidence on laparoscopic, robotic and new MIS techniques, such as trans-oral thyroidectomy or the first experiences with the Single Port (SP) DaVinci robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will have\ninnovative sessions with an interactive 4 nations expert panel who will\nconfront their clinical practice upon short case presentations on controversial\ncommon clinical scenarios. Keynote lecture will be given by our faculty\nthroughout the meeting days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our traditional\nASRCC best video contest will be launched again with interesting prizes. The\nshort listed best 5 videos will be presented at a special video session and the\naudience will vote for the winner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nhighlight of the social program will be the congress dinner where we will enjoy\nthe city, fine food and warm atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This unique\nevent will take place at the Starling Hotel, which offers a modern conference\nhall, comfortable enough to host up to 300 participants and cozy enough to\nfacilitate interactions among participants. The industry exposition area, where\nthe breaks will take place, is right in front of the conference hall entrance.\nThe hotel is at walking distance from the Airport and the train station and easily\nreachable by car or even by bike!
